“John, what’s for dinner tonight?”

“Glad you asked - I’m preparing a delicious Beef Braciple served with grass fed pet regularly beef round, fresh basil, a sweet tomato purée and topped with shavings of 25 year aged Zimboro.”

“That’s delicious babe, I’m so excited.”

“No your not - you’re not even real. You left me years ago when I spent all my time on cooking and this was the last dish I made before you pulled Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors off of the record player and walked out the door. What am I doing - I’ve got to stop this madness!”

Ayy whatta classic.

But how many times are you going to have to repurchase Rumors before you decide something needs to change?

Sure recipes are fun to make and yummy, but along the way it got so complicated. Pate, purée, sautée, dejonaise, mayonnaise, Macaronay. It’s just so...much. Too much time, too much effort - to get a meal I eat in 10 minutes it takes me 50 min of prep time. That’s a 5:1 ratio, way too large!

To save our time, effort, and quest for love, we need to cut back on those filler and thriller cooking additives and let’s consider sticking to the most elementary recipe that anyone would be sure to love. A 1:1 ratio every time. Only one ingredient needed, care to take a guess?

Yup, that’s right - nutmeg.

It’s time to cut back your hours in the kitchen. It’s time to step up your life. It’s time to get back to the basics.
